"Poster Child of the Apocalypse"

June 3, 2:30PM. The phrase just popped into my head a few minutes ago. What does it mean? I have no idea. Email me your interpretation in the form of an original image (GIF or JPEG), and I'll put my favorite responses in a new gallery. If you can store the pic on your own webserver or anonymous ftp server and just send me the URL, that would be even better.

But wait!

Please, if you plan to submit your own Poster Child, don't look at the other submissions until you've done your own.

I know, temptation is sweet, but think of the satisfaction you'll gain by resisting.

OK, you're sure you don't want to submit your own, or you've already sent it to me, now you're ready to take a look at the Poster Children of the Apocalypse.

Apocalyptic Feedback.

Great art idea! The phrase has been used for a song title,
   a short story, and is a on-line handle for a not-unknown
net.personality. (Many) great minds think alike!

I dunno -- knowing that it's not a new phrase makes me a bit disappointed. But I'll get over it, don't worry.
